Back Home

So we are back home from comic con and boy was it awesome and also very successful!! It was very hard work but it all paid off in the end.

We had so much fun meeting everyone and catching up with people we hadn't seen in a long time. To those of you that we missed there is always next year ;)

We will keep everyone up to date on The Drifter as we have more news.

If you have any questions just drop me a note and I will do my best to answer it.

well hello there miss! im sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I am up to my eyeballs in stuff right now. Tariq left for London yesterday and before that there were so many things to prepare after SDCC.

Today I have been working since 8am (remember that my office is my home) and i'm only half way done with today's 'to do' list.

I will post piccies as soon as i get a minute. I need to look into getting a faster service its just too much hassle not having one. ( the one i used to have i cant use anymore long story)

Booked hotels for next year...cant believe its over.

How about you?

hi there i have been a long time admirer of your work. I am a costume designer from Trinidad & Tobago.

I'm kinda asking a favor of you. I am designing some stuff, and I'd like to know if you can help me by drawing/ rendering them; like you so beautifully do yours...

I'd really appreciate your help...and maybe become good friends out of this.

I have a few stuff up, i'd be uploading more soon, but i can let me know what you think.

Hi Adds

I would love to help you out. Just let me know what you need and when. I am a costume designer as well. Just let me know when you need them by so that i can get them done. I am quite busy so please dont leave them too late.

heya!!! no worries, had a lot on my plate myself ;)

what service your internet provider?

wow booked your hotel already, excellent!

well we still don't know what will happen but we went to see the US embassy last week, had to wait around for hours and bring a hell of a lot of documents and stuff with us. I was not let in but apparently the actual interview didn't take all that long, robert was mostly just sitting around waiting his turn. they told him they would need to check a few things and that we should hear back within the next 2 weeks or so but that if everything he told them was correct he should get the visa.

dunno what this will mean for next years comic con as he would have to re-apply for a new visa and that takes months and they can still turn him down for spending too much time over there. basically we can't plan for anything anymore now, it sucks but at least he wasn't denied one yet.

well i understand. US immigration is tough work. I have been waiting for my work permit for over 4 months. It's meant to take 3. I have called and I was told that it should be looked at soon. In the mean time we are struggling here because we only have one income and its very hard to live in the US if you dont have a 'career' type job.

Oh well at least I get time to work on out art projects i suppose.
Our internet provider is Juno. Its an OK service we really need high speed though and this area only recently was fitted out with the capacity to house it.

I need a holiday. One that means when I come back all the crap is done and over with. *sigh*

i emailed something to you :)
:iconkyntio:
wow still waiting for that work permit? it just doesn't make any sense, if you're allowed to be there why wouldn't they let you work, ridiculous. hope you get it soon :fingerscrossed: yeah I can immagine, we're on only one income right now too with huge amount of bills to pay, let's hope things will get better soon for both of us

I've heard of Juno but I don't know what they're like. You'd think high speed would be the standard everywhere by now.
